This week Scotland almost became its own republic, #NYFW came to a close, and three more songs about big butts hit the radio. Meanwhile, in the universe of the Fash Mashers, we've been busy navigating Bangkok's sois in search of that wall, parking lot or tree that would really make our outfit pop. Tara: I wore this outfit to work then out for drinks at Mikkeller Bangkok. I'm really into high neck styles these days. After some initial upper arm concerns I realized showing some shoulder and arm is actually pretty flattering. (Michelle Obama knows what I'm sayin!) So I wore this Pomelo top with my go-to comfy pants that can still look dressy (also bought online from the now defunct Symbols of Style). This bag is one of a kind, hand embroidered by the talented Chanida of Cuscus Embroider Art. I got tons of comments on it! There's nothing better than owning something totally unique.

Sumati: I've been trying my hand at cooking lately, learning all sorts of fun stuff like making the perfect vegetarian lasagna and even attempting home-made gyoza! I wore this outfit to go grocery shopping to get ingredients to make chicken marsala and Szechuan tofu - sure, it may sound like conflicting cuisines, but it was delicious nonetheless! Next time I must remember to purchase an apron for fear of ruining this awesome vintage top!
