MEET THE FASH MASHERS

Once upon a time, at a playground not too far from here, three schoolgirls found themselves in the same sandbox (presumably to escape all the boys who were teasing - and crushing on - them, obvi). What started with shy smiles and awkward sand-building turned into an enduring bond which has seen them go through tie-dye dresses and teenage angst, baggy jeans and break-ups, and most importantly fashion and friendship.

Fast-forward 20 years later, and while they now avoid sand because their heels sink into it, these three girls have grown up to become women confident in their own styles. Being friends for so long means that they may sometimes unknowingly buy the same shirt (and even wear it on the same day - true story), but how they put it together stays true to their individual personalities.

Inspired by their unique tastes, and the fact that they get at least 11 "likes" when they post their #OOTDs to Instagram, they decided to start their own fashion blog.

Welcome to The Fash Mash.

Diane:
Photographer, yoga-doer, zen-swagger. Inspired by effortless beauty in the world. One can describe my style as 'Plain Funky' (sometimes with sprinkles of sexy). If you feel good in it wear it, just make sure your yoga pants aren't see-through!

Sumati:
Lifestyle magazine editor, human spell checker, makeup artist. Playful, girly, and edgy are the main styles found in my cluttered closet. I like to think I'm taller than I actually am, and that attitude inspires me in life. Four-inch heels help too.

Tara:
Newly-minted style editor, not-so-secret nerd, vintage fanatic. I don't believe in fashion rules or fashion victims. I do believe in mixing polka dots and stripes, denim on denim, and wearing socks with heels. Favorite decade of the moment: 90s.
