Girls' Night Out

While some may think of Thailand as one big red light district, full of the seedier things in life, we Bangkok-bred girls have to disagree with that perception. BKK may sometimes be B-Cray-Cray, but this is one city that is speedily moving forward (well, unless you're stuck in our notorious traffic, in which case you won't be going anywhere).

There are trendy new restaurants and bars  popping up every other day, which only means one thing: Ditch the boys and make it a girls' night out!

Our style tip for girly gatherings? Keep it unexpectedly sexy with some sheer bits and lots of leg!

Xoxo,
The Fash Mash

Work to Play

As you can see, none of us are "corporate ballers", otherwise this blog would be full of jackets that make us itch and stuffy suits (although both can be made very stylish too). Whether we're hustling in our offices from 9-to-5 (OK, fine, more like 11-to-3) or frolicking around on set, we can pretty much wear whatever we want to work, making the transition from work to play an easy one!

Diane's tip for taking it from day to night: "Carry a bag big enough to fit some funky heels and a hat. As soon as you're done with work, throw it on, slap on some bold lippy, and you're good to go!"

Diane:  Dress & hat from H&M, shoes from Central Chidlom, vintage Ragazze bag, chambray shirt from Bershka.

Sumati's tip for taking it from day to night: "The all-black ensemble is perfect to match the dreary mood of the office. Then come wine o' clock, throw on an oversized vintage blazer to add a pop (or many pops) of color to match how your face lights up as soon as you leave work."

Sumati: Black tank top stolen from Diane's closet (and I'm never giving it back!), vintage blazer from The Trapeze Swingers Store, skirt from Zara, gladiators from Esdra, bag by Missis.B.

Tara's tip for taking it from day to night: "This denim shirtdress is casual enough for work, but can be glammed up for happy hour by letting your hair down (and unbuttoning a few extra buttons if ya know what I mean)."

Tara: Vintage denim dress from Make Do And Mend Store, Shoe Cult gladiators by Nasty Gal.

Lattes & Eggs With a Side of Prints!

Despite starting this blog to depict a mash-up of fashion, sometimes being friends with the same people for so long means you all show up to brunch in similar styles. In this case, we took our lattes and eggs with a side of prints!

But of course, staying true to our individual personalities, our patterns come from all ends of the spectrum.

This is what happens when you don't send outfit selfies to each other first!

Tara: Vintage top from local store Penney on Her Vintage, vintage shorts from Chatuchak weekend market, vintage belt from Junique, shoes from Chou Shoes Shop, hologram clutch from SAP Accessories.

Sumati: Vintage dress from local store Penney on Her Vintage, vintage YSL bag from Chatuchak weekend market, shoes by Lacoste.

Diane: Dress by Zara, shoes by New Look (ordered on ASOS), bracelets from H&M & Zara, earrings from Chatuchak weekend market.

Introducing The Fash Mash

We wanted to start a fashion blog. So we did. We've known each other forever, we might even finish each other's... you know. But our styles are each our own. Being way into fashion is what we all share (underpaid salaries be damned). So, whether we're re-imagining boho, feminine and edgy, or minimal but quirky, mix it all up and this is what you get!

It's a fash-mash, people.

Sumati thought she was going to run away and join the circus with this ringmaster-esque blazer...

Sumati: Penney on Her Vintage tuxedo blazer, Dr Denim skinnies (seriously, you have to bend and squat in all directions to get them on), Jean-Michel Cazabat open-toe booties, Giorgio Armani sunglasses.

...Meanwhile, Tara had a few fashion experiments up her sleeve as this mad scientist...

Tara: Ritt Studio shirtdress, Jaspal metallic heels, Rayban sunglasses.

...And Diane knows a leopard can't change its spots, but it can make for a wild maxi skirt...

Diane: Zara crop top, Skirt from my Mama's closet, Rock Me ring (available at Terminal 21).
